In the first half of the seventies, as part of a strategy aimed at the typological diversification of the collection, Zanotta began the production of some furnishing accessories. The Sciangai coat hanger is the first and one of the most important accessories produced by Zanotta. The opening-closing mechanism is made with a steel washer. Stunning for its simplicity and originality, in 1979 it won the Compasso d’Oro award.
