In the Archibald armchair the leather upholstery, pleasantly moved by a play of vertical folds, is embellished, along the edges and on the external surfaces of the upholstery, with contrasting stitching that give a note of refined elegance. The width and depth of the seat are balanced by the slender feet, for a quick and slender overall effect. With Archibald, the designer Jean-Marie Massaud achieves a perfectly successful combination of form and substance.
